Abstract

|
|
From olibanum, acetylboswellic acid (I) and boswellic acid (II) were isolated as mixed crystals of alpha-and beta-forms in the ratio of 1 to 2 and 1 to 4, respectively. And acetyl-11-keto-p-boswellic acid (III) and 11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (IV) were also isolated and their alpha-forms were not found in olibanum by GC/selected ion monitoring MS technique. Contents of four compounds were determined.
